I was called out to offer my opinion on the course of action for this fireplace and chimney system.
Rich (my brother) may wind up replacing this. I would be concerned about placing scaffolding in front of this to work on it. _________________ Edward M Ridgeway

Looks like a pretty solid chimney. I would try and brace it or support it in some way before work begins on it. _________________ Looking for a flue liner for my chimney. |
